I designed, built, and flight-tested a 1/6th scale remote-controlled aircraft with STOL characteristics.
Key achievements:
- Designed the airframe with AutoCAD and Fusion 360 for a light-weight airframe with low wing loading
- Constructed the aircraft using a combination of carbon fibre tubes, balsa wood, 3D printing and film wrapping
- Incorporated flaps, ailerons, an elevator, and a rudder with tail wheel steering
- Successfully completed flight testing
